Grief Support

Grief Resources

Individual counseling, local grief support groups, and online websites may help in working through your grief.

GriefShare is a nationwide network of groups of people who meet weekly to share and support each other during the grief recovery process. Visit www.griefshare.org to find a support group near you.

Online resources include discussion forums, educational tools, and a community for people who are dealing with grief. You may find one or more of the following websites to be helpful:

Healing Hearts Grief Support

We are proud to connect families with Healing Hearts Grief Support, a trusted resource for those navigating loss. We help raise funds for their programs, and Tyler serves on the board, supporting their mission to care for our community.

Healing Hearts Connection

Healing Hearts Connection supports families and individuals coping with the loss of a loved one. Grief can leave both adults and children feeling overwhelmed by emotions such as fear, regret, loneliness, and disconnection. Through meaningful relationships with others facing similar challenges, participants find comfort, encouragement, and a renewed sense of belonging. At Hearts of Hope Family Grief Camps, families come together in a caring and supportive environment where connections are formed, experiences are shared, and healing can begin. In place of isolation, participants discover understanding, support, and community.

Since 2001, Healing Hearts Connection has offered Hearts of Hope Family Grief Camps at no cost to grieving individuals and families.

These two-day camps feature age-appropriate programs designed for every member of the family, from preschool-aged children to grandparents. While each group participates in activities tailored to their unique needs, families remain connected through shared experiences that help them navigate the grieving journey together. The camp welcomes all family members, and childcare is available for children between 6 weeks and 3 years of age.
