William "Bill" N. Wilde

William Norman "Bill" Wilde, Jr., age 63, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Austin, Minnesota.

Bill was born on January 22, 1963, in Austin, Minnesota, to William Norman Wilde, Sr. and Marjorie Miller. He attended Austin High School and spent more than 40 years working as a machine operator for IFP/Zumbro River Brand.

On April 20, 1985, Bill was united in marriage to Teresa Anderson, in Austin at Queen of Angels. Together they shared over 41 years of marriage and built a life centered on family, hard work, and enjoying the outdoors.

Bill enjoyed camping, fishing, bingo, playing softball, and spending time at the race track watching races, fixing cars or piloting his brother’s Midwest Mod. He was a member of the D&R Pool and Dart League and enjoyed checking in with his brothers over the years. Bill was happiest when he was outdoors, taking part in an adventure, or surrounded by family and friends.

Bill will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his dedication to his family, and the many memories he created with those closest to him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Wilde of Austin; son, Jared Wilde; daughter, Jessica (Kyle) Hernandez; granddaughter, Paisley; siblings, Gary Wilde, Bruce Wilde, LuAnn Wilde, Becky (Craig) Delhanty, Kelly (Mike) Pryor, Del Flagg, Gary Anderson, and Curt Anderson; along with many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Wilde, Sr. and Marjorie Wilde; siblings, Mary (Jerry) Wilkinson, Brenda Flagg, Karry Wilde, Marsha Wilde, Suzette Wilde; and nieces and nephews, Misty, Shane, Jordon.

A Celebration of Life for Bill will be held at the VFW in Austin from 11:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Worlein – Hoff Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
