Tully James Wollenburg

Tully James Wollenburg, age 60, of Faribault, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at his home in Faribault. Tully was born on January 17, 1964, in Austin, Minnesota, to Jerome and Barbara (Madison) Wollenburg. Tully graduated from Hayfield High School in 1982. Following graduation, he attended Mankato State University for four years. On September 7, 1985, Tully married Pam Olson; the couple later divorced but remained close friends. Tully married Lisa Rinker on July 7, 2007. They shared one year of marriage together until Lisa’s passing in 2008. Tully worked for many years as a service writer and manager for various automotive dealerships. Tully was an avid MN Vikings fan, and enjoyed fantasy football and watching old time television shows and movies. He also loved his Minnie Winnie camping trips and dirt track racing. Tully was a lover of animals, especially his three dogs, Roxie, Buster, and Molly. We take comfort in knowing that because of his strong faith, Tully is with the Lord. 

Tully is survived by his mother, Barbara Wollenburg; best friend, Pam Wollenburg; siblings, Phillip (Barbara) Wollenburg, Jeffery (Michelle) Wollenburg, and Cris Wollenburg; nieces, Sarah Hanson, and Nikki (Matt) Rose; nephew, Hunter Wollenburg; and stepchildren from his marriage to Lisa – Brooks Hale, Mackenzie Mendez, Brittany Rinker, and Stewart Rinker. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Wollenburg; grandparents; and second wife, Lisa Rinker.

The celebration of Tully’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Crane Community Chapel in Austin. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
