Tammy Linn Pineau, age 63, of Glenville, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at her home with her husband by her side. She was born on August 30, 1960, in Des Moines, Iowa to her parents, Roger and Donna Spencer. She graduated from North High in Phoenix, Arizona, and continued her education at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, New Jersey, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing. She married the love of her life, Gerald Pineau, on November 3, 2000, in White Settlement, Texas. She worked many years at Mayo Clinic and ended her career working for Grapetree as a traveling nurse before retiring in 2019 due to her cancer diagnosis. On August 5, 2019, her cancer battle began; she was a strong fighter until the end. She was baptized by Pastor George Marin on October 1, 2023, at her home. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Northwood. Tammy’s true passion was being a foster mom to Papillon dogs. She also enjoyed sewing, baking, cooking, and gardening. She loved to help people, especially through catering meals.
Tammy is survived by his husband, Jerry Pineau; and many friends she met along her journey.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center, 1304 21st St NE, Austin, Minnesota. A brief service will be held at the beginning of the Celebration of Life. Tammy graciously donated her body to the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program, in hopes that she could help cure ovarian cancer someday. Tammy’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Mayo Clinic Hospice for their wonderful care of Tammy. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
