Stacey Marie Lunning

Stacey Marie Lunning, age 42, of Lyle, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. Stacey was born on May 5, 1980, in Mason City, Iowa, to Darrel and Wanda (Corbin) Lunning. After completing high school, Stacey went on to attend Riverland Community College in Austin, studying psychology. Stacey grew up in Austin and lived in Lyle for the past 15 years. She loved fishing, rock hunting, and kayaking with her son, Michael. Stacey also enjoyed camping near Preston and Blue Earth and having campfires in her backyard at home. Doing anything in the outdoors brought happiness to Stacey.

Stacey is survived by her son, Michael Hanson of Rochester, MN; parents, Darrel and Wanda Lunning; brother, Geoff (Jolene) Lunning; nephews, Jacob (Taylor) Backen and Kyle (fiancé, Jade Meyers) Morrison; and great nieces and great nephew, Destiny, Allarik, and Anola Backen. She was preceded in death by her grandma, Anola Lunning.
