Sidney "Sid" Raymond DeBoer

Sidney “Sid” Raymond DeBoer, age 64, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026, at his home. Sid was born on November 15, 1961, to Merton and Vernetta (Klapperick) DeBoer. He was born and raised in Austin, Minnesota, and graduated from Austin High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the Marines. After serving his country, he worked as a forklift driver at Hormel. Sid loved to collect Marine memorabilia.

Sid is survived by his siblings, LaVonne (Phil) Jackson, Ginger Taylor, Hope (Tom) Wurster, and Hal DeBoer; sister-in-law, Frances DeBoer; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merton and Vernetta DeBoer; brother, Tim DeBoer; sister, Holly Allen; and brothers-in-law, Milo Taylor and Randy Allen.
