Ryan Alexander Huinker

Ryan Alexander Huinker, age 28, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025. Ryan was so much more than a son, brother, and husband. He was a steady support system, a source of laughter, and a truly kind soul, who cared deeply for the people in his life. His absence has created a void that will be felt forever. Ryan was born June 10, 1997, in Austin, Minnesota, to Linda and Steve Huinker. Ryan worked in the oil and gas industry; he took great pride in his work and in his CDL with Hazmat. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Brittany Fassett on November 6, 2025. His two favorite things were riding his Harley and tending to his lawn.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Brittany Huinker; parents, Linda Huinker of Austin, Minnesota and Steve Huinker of Tioga, ND; siblings, Lea Hoverson (Kyle Day), Lita Huinker, twin brother, Cody Huinker, and Kaylyn Huinker; nieces and nephew, Madison, Tanner, and Abbey Day. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ava Skye who was sadly lost by miscarriage; and grandparents, Harvey and Laura Hoverson, and Craig and Diane Huinker.

A celebration of life for Ryan will take place from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin. Private family interment will be held in Grandview Cemetery, Austin. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin are assisting the family with arrangements.
