Rosella Durben

Rosella M. Durben, age 79, of Austin, died Friday, January 21, 2011 at Thorne Crest Care Center in Albert Lea. Rosella was born August 19, 1931 in Dodge Center, Minnesota to Edwin and Elise (Hightshoe) Lee. On September 7, 1950 she married Ambrose K. Durben at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2001. Rosella worked and retired from Gerard of Minnesota. Survivors include her children, Linda Durben, Austin, Mark (Deb) Durben, Albert Lea, Lisa (Dave) Patterson, Lyle; grandchildren, Ryan Durben, Heather and Jeremy Johnson, Shari Durben, Eric Patterson and Nicole Bloch; great grandchildren, Ian Johnson, Brailyn Patterson, Tenaya Patterson; brothers, Elmer (Phylis) Lee, Austin, Richard (Ida Mae) Lee, Austin, Virgil (Nancy) Lee, Bloomington; sisters, Evelyn (Marvin) Durben, Bloomington, Vera (Richard) Armbrust, Austin; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Elise Lee; sister, Lucile; and in-laws. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Dale Tupper officiating. The family will greet friends from 4-7 pm on Monday at Mayer Funeral Home and also at a luncheon following the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
