Raul Francis Duenes

Raul Francis Duenes, age 75, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at his home in Austin. Raul was born on September 2, 1949, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to Natividad and Guadalupe (Luna) Duenes. He enjoyed being in nature – he especially loved fishing and long walks. Raul found peace while overlooking the lakes. He also enjoyed watching movies and eating, especially his favorite food, burgers. He will be greatly missed. 

Raul is survived by his sons, Alejandro, Angel, and Aaron Duenes; brothers, Bob, John, and Jesse; sisters, Carmen, Lupe, and Rosey; and other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Natividad and Guadalupe. 

A celebration of Raul’s life will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
