Minocrookonbull ScabbyRobeParnett

Reverend Minocrookonbull ScabbyRobeParnett past away in his home on Oct. 21, 2020. He was born Leonard James Mueller on Mar. 12, 1953 to Lloyd Mueller and May (Hamilton) Mueller in Albert Lea, MN. He lived in Albert Lea for all of his school life until he graduated.  He spent his youth interested and nature and the sciences. He joined the Air Force. He served until he was injured during a maneuver where his helicopter went down. After that he came back to Albert Lea and did some schooling at the local community college in electrical engineering.  He felt the call from the creator and went to Apostolic Bible College where he got Ordained as minister by the Pentecostal Church.  He met his first wife and moved to South Dakota to help his father in-law run his church.  During that time he also did odd jobs such as building HUD homes and running security for the state capital.  During his marriage he was blessed with 3 children David (Julie) Mueller, Wendy Schafer and Jolene (Steve) Collins.  After his divorce he met Rita.  They married and had a daughter Amanda Wells. He worked several factories jobs where he hurt his back and became disabled.  He moved to Clarks Grove to the disabled housing.  He did many crafts and some electrical projects. He then met Kathy Bibeau.  They had a whirlwind romance and were married Nov. 2, 1985. They moved from place to place enjoying their lives together. They finally settled in Austin and were blessed with a son, MeShetnaglee.  They ran a trading post called Thunder Horse Ranch. He was loved by many during this time getting many nicknames such as Packrat and Padre. He symbolic adopted family members such Ed Miracle, Diana Ross and Michael Lehann. Up unit his death he was very involved in the Native American community/culture and attended the Mankato Powwow since its inception.  He loved telling the native Old Man stories during education days in Mankato.  He assisted at Two Bears Trading Post/Spirit Bear Academy for many many years, in teaching beading, leatherwork, history, and other craft activities.

He leaves behind Kathy ScabbyRobeParnett, MeShetnaglee (Heather) ScabbyRobeParnett, Ed Miracle, Diana Ross, Mike Lehann, his mother May, sister Lucinda (Randy) Stroetz, brother Franklin (Mary) Mueller, son David (Julie) Mueller, daughters Wendy Schafer, Jolene (Steve) Collins, Amanda Wells, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
