Michael "Mike" John Srock

Michael John Srock, age 71, of rural Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, died Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at his home. He was born on December 25, 1954, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to Edwin and LaVonne (Hegge) Srock. He was the second oldest of five siblings. Mike graduated from Austin High School (class of 1973). He went on to join the US Army (13th Corps.) He was stationed in 1976 in Fort Hood, Texas. On September 2, 1978, he married Tammy Alwes at the First Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. He was a Steel Fabricator at Mustang Manufacturing and a truck driver at Sanimax. Mike’s free time was spent hunting, fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family.

Mike is survived by his wife, Tammy Srock; three children, William (Jennifer) Srock, Melissa (Alex) Gruhlke, and Johnathan (Jordan) Srock; six grandchildren, Isabella, Kage, Gavin, Paysen, Tahlon, and Aria. He leaves behind three siblings, Larry Srock, Cindy Walters, and Danny Srock. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Ed; mother, LaVonne; and brother, Ronny.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
