Mary Catherine "Cathy" DeClerk

Mary Catherine “Cathy” DeClerk, age 98, of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie. Cathy was born on January 5, 1925 in Davenport, Iowa, to Robert and Mabel (Curtis) Lohmann. She graduated in 1942, from Claremont High School and went on to attend college in Davenport, Iowa. Cathy’s marriage to Neil DeClerk was blessed with one daughter, Diane. She was happiest when working in her garden and she especially loved roses.

Survivors include her husband, Neil DeClerk; daughter, Diane DeClerk. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mabel Lohmann.
