Margaret "Maggie" Mcdonald

Margaret Ann "Maggie" McDonald, age 77, of Rochester and formerly of Austin, died Monday, June 14, 2010 at Regina Medical Center in Hastings. Maggie was born November 20, 1932 in Austin to Walter and Magdalena Peterson. She lived in Austin until she moved to Rochester in 1980. Maggie retired from a long career at Sears. Survivors include her children, Kevin (Diana) McDonald, Columbia Heights, Gary McDonald, Bloomington, Daniel (Margaret) McDonald, Windom, Colleen "Beany" McDonald (Kathy Drinkwine), Hastings; four grandchildren; sister, Pearl Wilson, Bayfield, CO. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Peterson; her mother, Magdalena Peterson; her brothers, Walter "Pete" Peterson and Robert Peterson. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am on Friday, June 18, 2010 at Mayer Funeral Home with Father Joe Fogal officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at Mayer Funeral Home on Friday. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The casket bearers will be Matthew McDonald, Ryan McDonald, Scott McDonald, Jill Pulkrabek and Timothy Pulkrabek.
