Louise Wolf

Louise M. Wolf, 87, of Austin, died Friday, May 6, 2011 at Sacred Heart Care Center in Austin. She was born June 3, 1923 in Stacyville, Iowa to Thomas A. and Margaret (Weber) Theobald. Louise graduated from Stacyville High School and on June 21, 1945 married Raymond P. Wolf. The couple moved from Stacyville to Austin in 1947 when Raymond became employed at Hormel Foods. They both enjoyed country living on an 80 acre farm starting in 1951. The coffee pot was always on for friends. Louise enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, hiking in the Arizona mountains during winter vacations, golf and closely followed the Minnesota Twins. Louise was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, active in Queen of Angels Rosary Society and a resident of Sacred Heart Care Center. Survivors include her husband Ramond of Austin and four children, Carol Jean Wolf, Pembrooke, Maine, Jeffry (Deborah) Wolf, Saukville, WI, Mary Wolf (Patrick Kelly) Costa Mesa, CA and Ann Marie Wolf (Jack Perchorowicz), Tuscon, AZ. She was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Sacred Heart Care Center with Father Donald Zenk officiating. Her family will greet friends one hour before the service at Sacred Heart Care Center. Arrangements by Mayer Funeral Home.
