Logan Mitchell Marty

Logan Mitchell Marty, age 6 months, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away in his parents’ arms on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. Logan Mitchell was born October 26, 2021, in Rochester, Minnesota, to Lukas and Caitlin (Wolters) Marty. He was baptized on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Logan was a very social baby and had a spunky personality which made him a favorite around the PICU. He loved taking walks around the unit and chatting with his nurses and other friends. Music therapy was Logan’s favorite; the music therapist would put the guitar and ukulele on his toes for him to feel the vibrations and let him strum along on the strings. I guess you could say he was quite the accomplished musician, just like his Grandpa Randy. Logan was a very cuddly baby and loved to snuggle with his mom and dad. His favorite toys were his fox and chicken; his fox toy could calm him in an instant. He was a stylish baby with all his outfits; his dad bought matching blue Under Armour shirts and khaki shorts in a variety of sizes so he and Logan could always match. Logan could melt your heart with his lopsided smile and it’s a smile we will never forget.

Logan will be forever missed by his parents, Lukas and Caitlin Marty; aunts and uncles, Ben (Anna Haywood) Wolters, and Dawn (Brett) Klonecki; grandparents, Lynn and Randy Marty, Rebecca and Mark Wolters.
