Lisa Mae Barker

Lisa Mae Barker (Greenlee), age 61, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at her home. She was born January 6, 1965, in Austin, Minnesota.

Lisa graduated from Austin High School and dedicated her working years to caring for others as a certified nursing assistant, as well as serving in scheduling and staffing roles. She was known for her selfless nature, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her compassion for her family and those around her was limitless, and caring for others came naturally to her.

She expressed her love in many ways—through the meals she lovingly prepared that brought family together, the warm and welcoming spaces she created through decorating, and the thoughtful attention she gave to every detail so others could feel at home. Lisa enjoyed cooking, decorating, crocheting, knitting, crafting soap, and caring deeply for animals.

Lisa married Richard Barker, and together they had a son, Jesse. Though they later divorced, family always remained at the center of her life. While Lisa never had the opportunity to meet her granddaughter, Everleigh, her family takes comfort in believing their souls are forever connected and that Lisa’s loving spirit continues to watch over her family.

She is survived by her mother, Karyl, and stepfather, Robert Brabbit; her son, Jesse (Aryn) Barker; grandchildren, Everleigh and Kenedi; sister, Jennifer (Sonny) Murphy; and half-sisters, Misty (Anthony) Lamaack and Jenny (David) Hare. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Greenlee; and her grandparents, Avon and Gladys Mason and Howard and Margaret Greenlee.

A private family service will be held. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin are assisting the family with arrangements.
