Kristine Alayne Lenoch

Kristine A. Lenoch, age 62, of Lyle, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in Austin. Kristine Alayne Valkema was born on April 23, 1964, in Paterson, New Jersey, to Marten Sr. and Henrietta (Faber) Valkema. She grew up in Clearwater, Florida, and attended Clearwater School District. In 1992, she moved to Austin, Minnesota, with her daughter, Amber and Amber’s father, Scott Fiveland. On August 1, 1996, Kristine was united in marriage to William Joseph Lenoch in Austin. The family resided in Lyle until her passing. Kristine worked various jobs at HyVee Bakery and Walmart. Her coworkers at Walmart will fondly remember her for the cat ears she wore while working. She enjoyed writing, watching Judge Judy and murder shows, and spending time with her dogs. Her pets brought her so much joy. She was the best mom to Amber and her friends. Kristine had a huge heart; she always remembered birthdays and important milestones and loved to celebrate everyone. We will love and miss her forever.

Kristine is survived by her husband, William Lenoch of Lyle; daughter, Amber (Michael Tschida) Fiveland of Austin; grandchildren, Michael and Gabriel Tschida of Austin; siblings, Anne Cooper, Jan Fisher and Stephanie (Robert) Fletcher; many nieces and nephews; and beloved dogs, Ellie Mae and Rose. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marten and Henrietta Valkema; siblings, Tinnetta Cooper, and Marten Valkema Jr.; beloved dogs, Rosie, Xavier, Otis, and Karma.

A celebration of Kristine’s life will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin. Kristine loved anything pink; to honor her memory please wear pink to her celebration. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
