Kimberly "Kim" Diane Peterson

Kimberly Diane Peterson, age 64, of Lansing, Minnesota, passed away at home, surrounded by family on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Kimberly Morse was born April 3, 1960, to Jerry and Marlene (Schroeder) Morse in Austin, Minnesota. She graduated with the class of 1979 from Hayfield High School and worked as a paraprofessional at Austin Public Schools for over 15 years. Kim was known for her love of music, singing, and her vibrant personality that lit up any room. Her family and friends were her world, and she embraced every moment spent with them, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went. Kim will forever be remembered for being the life of the party and always being involved in the lives of those around her. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Peterson; children, Cole (Mary) Lane and Amanda (Jammie) Jessen; stepdaughter, Jami (Erik) Mundahl; grandchildren, JaQuan, Hayden, Leland, Quincy, and Kennedy; father, Jerry E. Morse; siblings, Jerry “Todd” Morse and Tammy Jax; and nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marlene Morse; brother, Shawn; sister, Shannin; and grandson, Jasper.

A memorial service for Kimberly will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Grace Lutheran Church in Austin. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the service on Friday. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
