Kathryn J. Miller, age 85, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at home surrounded by her family in Austin. Kathryn Jean Titus was born on April 15, 1941, in Austin, Minnesota, to Clyde Jr. and Evelyn (Schuiltz) Titus. She graduated from Austin High School in 1959. On January 24, 1960, Kathy was united in marriage to Everett Earl Miller at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin. The couple was blessed with three children who Kathy stayed at home with and raised.
Kathy loved shopping, camping at The Old Barn Resort in Preston, and having coffee and visiting with her neighbors. Every Friday night Kathy and Everett would meet up with their friends for dinner. Most of all Kathy loved her grandchildren and her fur babies. We will remember her for her sassiness, spunk, and the love she gave to our family.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Everett; children, Steven Miller of Dexter, Darren Miller of Brookston, Minnesota, and Marri (Kevin) Maloney of Austin; grandchildren, Morgan (Brooke) Miller, Tyler (Ally) Hershey, Kylah (Kole) Igou, Hunter (Molly) Maloney, Summer (Jordan ) Roe, Talynn (Enele) Scanlan, Kohlton (Erin) Miller, and Mia Maloney; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Ezra, Ellsie, Kamila, Everett, Kohen, Paisley, Theodore, and Skyla; brother, Chuck Titus of Blooming Prairie; sister, Donna (Laverne) King of Austin; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Eldene and Dave Walterman; and fur babies, Lara and Mocha. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Evelyn; brothers, Robert, Ray, and James Titus; sister, Ruth Anne Albright; and parents-in-law, Earl and Elda Miller of Dexter.
The celebration of life for Kathy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will be held at a later date in the Dexter Cemetery. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
