Kathryn "Kathy" Ann Krull

Kathryn Ann Krull (Golden), of Austin, Minnesota, passed away at the age of 83 years old at Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester, Methodist Campus, on August 21, 2025. Kathy was born to Charles and Hildegarde Golden on June 16, 1942, in Austin, Minnesota. Kathy graduated from Austin High School and then went on to get a business degree at the Humboldt Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was employed at MCHS-Austin (Austin Medical Clinic) as a secretary/desk person for 28 years. She retired from there in 2008. She was an active member of the Christ Church-Episcopal, of Austin, Minnesota. One of her most favorite childhood memories was growing up on the Hormel Estate where her father worked with the horses. She states her greatest lesson in life was, “LIVE ONE DAY AT A TIME.” Kathy loved spending time in northern Minnesota and Germany. Family and friends were very precious to her. Kathy was always willing to help others.

Kathy is survived by two sons, Judd (Anita) of Germany and Josh (Sheila) of Austin, MN; five grandchildren, Benjamin Krull, Joshua Krull, Philip Krull, Felicia Krull of Germany, and Jared Krull of Rochester, MN; two great-grandchildren, Hanna Krull and Henry Krull of Germany. Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, John Krull; her parents, Charles and Hildegarde Golden; and brother, Thomas Golden.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Christ Church-Episcopal in Austin, MN, with Fr. John Sullivan officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Austin. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Kathy’s name to the Mower County Humane Society or Christ Church-Episcopal. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin are assisting the family with arrangements.
