Judith Perkins

Judith Kay Perkins, 74 of Austin died October 15, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital Rochester. She was born December 13, 1943 in Austin to Kenneth and Margaret (McNee) Riles of Lansing, Minnesota. She attended Lansing School and graduated from Austin High School in 1961. On April 5th, 1968 she was united in marriage to Paul Perkins from Austin. Judy was a homemaker, worked at Piggly Wiggly, Super Valu and retired from Weyerhaeuser after 24 years. She was a dynamic softball player. She enjoyed bowling, car races, watching the MN Twins and listening to Elvis. Judy is survived by her husband Paul; brothers Dick (Marie) Riles, John Riles, Doug (Ruth) Riles, Steve (Mary) Riles, and Jim (Carolyn) Riles; sister in law Cheryl Riles; many nieces and nephews. Judy is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather Peder Madson and brother Dave Riles A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at St. Edwards Catholic Church, with Father John Traufler officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 pm Friday October 26 at Mayer Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
