Joshua Dale Wiedemann

Joshua Dale Wiedemann, age 35, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at his home in Austin. Josh was born on September 22, 1989, in Austin, Minnesota, to Rhonda Wiedemann and Timothy Flicek. He graduated from Austin High School in 2009. Josh met the love of his life, Brooke Hostetler, in 2005. Together they had their son, Gavin, in 2010. Josh was most recently working for McNeilus Steel. He enjoyed fishing, pool, disc golf, art, music, camping trips, and spending time with his family and friends. Most important to Josh was the time he spent with Brooke and Gavin. He was a very loving and pure-hearted person. He always had a smile on his face that was contagious for everyone. Josh was always willing to help anyone with anything. He will be dearly missed by so many.

Josh is survived by the love of his life, Brooke Hostetler; son, Gavin Wiedemann; mother, Rhonda (David Jensen) Wiedemann; father, Tim Flicek; sister, Jessica Wiedemann; brother, Cody Wiedemann; half-sister, Mindy Butler; many nieces and nephews; grandparents, Phyllis Wiedemann and Melvin Flicek; and K9, Pooler.

A memorial service for Josh will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin are assisting the family with arrangements.
