Joann Elizabeth Dombrock

Joann Elizabeth Dombrock, age 70, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at her home in Austin. Joann Shatek was born April 27, 1953, in Austin, Minnesota, to Doug and Elizabeth (Nelson) Shatek. She was a graduate of Austin High School and a lifelong Austin resident. Joann worked as a waitress for various restaurants over the years. She enjoyed reading, cross-stitching, and tending to her garden. Joann will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her grandson, Jake Dombrock; granddaughter, Grace (Alex Metz) Tomlinson; and brothers, Jerry Shatek, John Shatek, and Jim Shatek. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Heather Tomlinson.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Grandview Cemetery, Austin, Minnesota. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
