Jesse Robert Morgan

Jesse Robert Morgan, age 41, of Wells, Minnesota, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, at his home. Jesse was born on April 30, 1984, in Austin, Minnesota, to Steven and Mary Morgan. He graduated from Austin High School in 2002 and continued his education at Riverland Community College and Mankato State University. Jesse taught elementary physical education and was a high school DAPE teacher at United South Central for eight years, following positions at Hutchinson, Le Sueur, and St. Peter. He married the love of his life, Taylor Moynagh, in December of 2019. Together, they welcomed their son, Maverick, who brought great joy to Jesse’s life.

Jesse was passionate about sports, coaching high school soccer, tennis, and hockey, as well as middle school baseball. He ran the summer soccer program in Wells, Minnesota for three years and spent two years developing a disc golf course there that is now open to the public. He looked forward to sharing his love of sports with his son, Maverick, and cherished the time spent outdoors with him. Jesse was also a dog lover, known for his special bond with his Rottski, Kenai, with whom he enjoyed snuggling and playing soccer.

Survivors include his wife, Taylor and 1-year-old son, Maverick of Wells, Minnesota; mother and stepfather, Mary and John Bellrichard of Austin, Minnesota; sister, Terra Morgan; nephews, Arne Johnson and Dominic Sens; niece, Rhianna Race; and his beloved dog, Kenai. He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Robert Morgan; and his grandparents, John and Jeanette Musser and Robert and Deloras Morgan.

A memorial service for Jesse will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin, Minnesota. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. A private family interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Austin, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family for Maverick’s future care. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin are assisting the family with arrangements.
