Jerenne "Jerri" Beverly Blaser, age 94, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Sacred Heart Care Center in Austin. Jerenne was born in Austin on December 20, 1931, to Alvin and Hildred (Hanson) Erickson. She married Clifford "Cliff" Blaser on May 29, 1957. Together they had four children. Some of her happiest years were spent in Branson, Missouri after retirement with Cliff and their dog, Muffin. Jerri had many wonderful gifts that she shared with others. One of her many gifts was her love for making lefse. With the help of Cliff, they made many dozen lefse, sharing them with many people over the years. Her love for her family and her faith were her greatest gifts.
Jerenne is survived by her daughters, Pamela (Larry) Kramer of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and Patsy Fontes of Austin, Minnesota; daughter-in-law, Brenda Blaser of Austin, Minnesota; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Rosalee Jech of Austin, Minnesota, and Linnea (Keith) Burtch of Austin, Minnesota; brother, Edward (Ardith) Erickson of Fort Walton, Florida; sister-in-law, Jeanette Duren of Austin, Minnesota; and her devoted friend, caregiver and ex-daughter-in-law, Kim Lange of Austin, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Clifford Blaser; and two sons, Steven and Terry Blaser.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to both Jerri and Cliff's caregiver over the last three years, Kim Lange, who showed up every day with patience, love and empathy. We will forever be thankful for her unwavering support.
The memorial service for Jerri will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin with celebrant, Lynn Spainhower, officiating. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at a later date in the Mayo Bequest Vault in Oakwood Cemetery, Rochester, with her husband, Cliff.
