Jean Edge

Jean A. (Lynch) Edge, age 68, of Austin, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at her home. Jean was born March 7, 1942 in Austin to Edward and Arthamese (Feeley) Titus. She attended Pacelli High School. In 1963 she was united in marriage to Tim Lynch at Queen of Angels Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on October 4, 1993. In 1999 she was united in marriage to Maurice Edge at their home in Austin. Jean was a member of the Catholic Church and the Austin Eagles Club. She loved to do yard work and spend time with her children and their families. A house full of company made her happy. Jean loved to spoil her dog, Freckles. Survivors include her husband, Maurice Edge, Austin; children, Jim (Anne) Lynch, Lyle, Kelly (Gary) Faas, Lyle, John (Michelle) Lynch, Blooming Prairie; step children, Sharon (Harold) Willis, Owatonna, Doane Edge, Austin, Kay (Richard) Weaver, Dexter; 17 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Vern "Pops" Titus, Washington, IL; sisters, Ardy (Dave) Osmundson, Austin, Joan (Dale) Anderson, Rose Creek; sister-in-law, Diane Titus, Austin; nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Timothy Lynch; parents, Edward and Arthamese Titus; sister, Marilyn Sorenson; brothers, David Titus and Danny Titus; mother-in-law and father-in-law; brother-in-law. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am on Friday, July 30, 2010 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Joe Fogal officiating. There will be a 6:30 pm wake service on Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 4-7 pm and also one hour before the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The honorary casket bearers will be Randa Lynch and Skylar Lynch. The casket bearers will be Eddie Lynch, Beth Lynch, Travis Faas, T.J. Lynch, Alex Lynch and Katie Faas.
