Jamie Ellen Franks

Jamie Franks, age 78, of Austin, Minnesota, and formerly of Bozeman, Montana, died Thursday, August 27, 2026, while in hospice care at Sacred Heart Care Center in Austin, Minnesota. Jamie was a graduate of Fairfield, Montana High School and Kinman Business University in Spokane, Washington. She was a secretary to the Superintendent of Fairfield Schools, taught Weight Watchers classes and was a tremendous baker and cook. She enjoyed walking her dog on the trails around Bozeman, Montana. Jamie also volunteered for the Wounded Warrior Project program events around the Gallatin Valley.

Jamie was vibrant and had a zest for living. Jamie married William Franks in 1975. She had three children whom she spoiled with homemade food and love. She was a devoted and caring wife as well and always supportive of her family and friends.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Burial will be at Park View Memorial Cemetery in Livingston, Montana. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
