Jacquelin "Jackie" Mae Synoground

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacquelin Synoground. On June 15th, 2024, she peacefully entered into eternity surrounded by loved ones. Born on February 23rd, 1939, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Jackie lived a life full of love, laughter, and kindness.

Jackie was a dedicated and loving spouse, a cherished parent, a beloved grandparent, and a true friend to many. A strong woman of faith who loved Jesus, she was known for her warm heart and generous spirit. She always put others before herself and was a pillar of strength and support for her family and friends.

She is survived by her devoted spouse of 62 years, Rolf Synoground; their three children, Kimberly (Charlie) Bina, Jane (Scott) Wuertz, and Rory (Amelia) Synoground; her 14 adored grandchildren, including Kristina (Charles), Joshua, Rebekah, Joseph (Alyssa), Jackson (Alyssa), Ryan (Rebecca), and Jesse (Kailey); 26 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Jackie is also survived by her siblings, Jeanie (Roger) Taylor, Mary (Ron) Grunseth, and Larry Davis, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Evelyn Davis, and stepmother, Shirle; and her sister, Kathy.

Jackie's passion for helping others was evident in everything she did. She was a certified dental assistant, an alumnus of Liberty University and Rhema Bible Training Center, and graduated from Life Christian University with an associate degree in Christian Counseling. She was actively involved in her community, volunteering in a wide variety of roles at church, including Director of Youth Ministry, Sunday School Teacher, and Counseling Assistant. She was also a nanny for 14 years and provided personal care for many.

An avid lover of sports, Jackie founded the youth fast-pitch softball program in Austin and coached both fast-pitch softball and hockey. However, she was most proud of being a homemaker. Being a mother was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment with her family.

Her kindness, wisdom, and gentle nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Jackie's legacy of Christ-centered love and compassion will continue to live on through the many lives she impacted.

A celebration of Jackie's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Freedom Christian Fellowship in Austin, Minnesota, with a visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.

Until we see you again in glory, we will never forget you, Jackie. We will carry your legacy in our hearts every day. To my wife, my mom, my grandma, my friend, we love you.
