Irene Elizabeth Schammel

Irene Elizabeth Schammel, age 94, of Owatonna, Minnesota, formerly of Rose Creek, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Cedar Lodge Assisted Living in Owatonna.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Rose Creek with Fr. Jim Berning officiating. The visitation will take place from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to Mass. A private family interment will be held in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Rose Creek. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
