Helen Marie Webber

Helen Marie (Retterath) Webber, age 85, of Adams, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Cedar Court Senior Living in Adams.

Helen was born February 1, 1941, in Osage, Iowa, to Lawrence and Marie (Wettstein) Retterath. Helen attended school in Adams and graduated in 1959. On November 15, 1960, Helen married Lynn Edward Webber at Sacred Heart Church. Helen was proud of the work she did at the DAC. She also enjoyed being a consultant for AVON.

Helen was so proud of her children. She loved and adored her grandchildren with all her heart. Helen enjoyed watching her husband Lynn coach their son’s teams and loved watching all her children’s sporting events. Helen later found an even greater love of watching her grandchildren play sports. She could be seen at girls’ varsity basketball games in recent years with the girls’ varsity players all around her, asking for stories about her youngest son, Matt. She would always tell the girls he was a perfect angel. Helen also loved being able to meet her great-grandchildren. She had a proud display in and outside of her apartment of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She never missed a newspaper clipping and always made sure every picture was printed so she could show them off.

In her spare time, Helen enjoyed searching for the perfect deal. If it was pink or cheetah print, it was hers. Helen never left the house without a ring on almost every finger, earrings, a necklace, and her favorite rose pin. She loved Elvis and any Martha Stewart cooking show.

Helen was a proud member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a member of the Adams City Council for many years.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Webber; her parents; sisters, Jenny Blake and Lorraine Kramer; brothers, Joe, John, and Tom; and her brothers-in-law.

Helen is survived by her children, Anthony "Potsy" Webber of Pepin, Wisconsin, Tamara Larson of Adams, Minnesota, Timothy (Annette) Webber of Rangely, Colorado, Pamela Webber of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Matthew (Kerry) Webber of Adams, Minnesota; nine grandchildren, Brittany (Webber) Hall, Shane Webber, Bryce Larson, Mitchell Webber, McKenzie (Webber) Davis, Marshall Webber, Katlin (Webber) Koenigs, Christopher Webber, and Sadie Webber; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Jack, Korbin, Koen, Brynn, and one on the way; and siblings, Annie (Kenny) Huemann, Louise Goergen, Theresa (Wally) Watson, Mary (Wayne) Rogne, and Liz (Mike) Schik.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams, Minnesota. The visitation will take place one hour prior to Mass. She will be laid to final rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Adams, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Adams Town and Country Swimming Pool. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin are assisting the family with arrangements.

We would like to thank everyone for the love and kindness shown to our family. We extend a special thank you to the staff at Cedar Court Senior Living and St. Croix Hospice for the great care they provided Helen.
