Gilbert Pineda

Gilbert Pineda, age 57, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. Gilbert was an awesome man that was always the life of the party, always had a smile that lit up the room, and a laugh that was contagious. He will be deeply missed.

If you could see me now, you wouldn’t shed a tear. Though you may not understand why I’m no longer here, remember my spirit, that’s the real me, I am still very much alive if only you could see. I’ve seen your mansion and will meet you there someday, allow Jesus to be your guide his words will show you the way, so please don’t cry, we will meet again someday.

Gilbert is survived by his mother, Mary; father Herb of Planview, TX; seven children, Brittany Pineda (Adam) of Austin, MN, Paige Pineda (Jacob) of Austin, MN; Ryley Pineda of Mankato, MN, Tasia Martinson (Ethan) of Mankato, MN, Tremount Martinson (Alice) of Jordan, MN, Elizabeth Espe of Blooming Prairie, MN, Tayce Pineda of Mankato, MN; his grandchildren that he adored, Arrianna Pineda, Alejandra Pineda, Nevahe Pineda, Javante Pineda all of Austin. He was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda; brother, Bobi; grandparents, Ama and Apa; and many friends from throughout the years.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
