Frederick Cantrall

Frederick A. Cantrall, age 57 of Wells, Minnesota, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, August 20, 2020, at Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester, Saint Marys Campus, surrounded by his loving family. Frederick was born August 24, 1962 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Frederick and Donna (Freuen) Cantrall. He graduated in 1980 from Port Washington High School in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Frederick proudly served his country in the United States Army for nine years. On September 6, 1983, he married Terry Tresslar in Anchorage, Alaska. Frederick joined the Canadian Pacific Railroad starting out as a conductor and worked his way up to engineer. He enjoyed spending time with his friends. Frederick especially loved his family and enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Cantrall of Sheboygan Falls, WI; wife, Terry Cantrall of Wells, MN; children, Jeremy (Julie) Loeding of Pella, IA, Justin (Natasha) Loeding of Owatonna, MN; three grandchildren, Jackson Loeding, Eloise Loeding, and Myles Loeding; two brothers, Rodney (Deb) Cantrall of WI, Steven (Candy) Cantrall of Mapleview, MN; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Cantrall; and one brother, Russell Cantrall.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin, Minnesota. Visitation will take place from 12:45-1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Military rites by American Legion Post 91. Memorials are preferred to the family. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
