Dean Darrel Knutson

Dean Darrel Knutson, age 66, of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023, at his home in Blooming Prairie. Dean was born on February 28, 1957, in Owatonna, Minnesota, to Charles and Shirley (Lea) Knutson. He graduated from Blooming Prairie High School with the class of 1975. Farming was the core of Dean’s life. He milked cows, raised pigs, grew a variety of crops, and took pride in his garden. Dean enjoyed watching movies and basketball on television. He will be remembered for the quality time he spent visiting with family and friends.

Dean is survived by his sister, Kristal (Doug) Paulson of Albert Lea; niece, Brooke (fiancé, Ben Kelly) Paulson of Rochester; aunts, Doris Lea of Blooming Prairie, and Sharon Lea of Blooming Prairie; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Knutson; and several aunts and uncles.
