David Pillar

David Allan Pillar, age 38 of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 at his home in Austin. David was born April 19, 1981, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Cynthia Pillar. He attended Hyland High School. David was an avid sports fan of wrestling and football, and enjoyed the Minnesota sports teams.

Survivors include his daughter, Vanessa Wilcox; one grandchild, Bentley; two sisters, Christine Pillar and Shawn Marie Stellmach; two nephews, Ray Carothers and DeShawn Carothers; niece, Whittney Carothers; great nephew, Montino Carothers; and close friend, Jen. He is preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Pillar; brothers, Charles Stellmach and Virgil Stellmach; and nephew, Gilbert Carothers.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
