Betty Ann Bush

Betty Ann Bush, age 78, of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie. Betty was born June 30, 1947, in Rochester, Minnesota, to Peder and Inez (Williamson) Madson. She graduated from Blooming Prairie High School and began her working career as a nurse’s aide before dedicating herself to being a devoted homemaker. She was married to Alan Bush, with whom she shared two sons, Troy and Tim. The couple later divorced. Betty was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie. She enjoyed canning, making lefse, and cherishing time with her grandchildren. Betty was known for her joyful spirit, happy-go-lucky attitude, and infectious laughter. She approached life with positivity, bringing light to all who knew her.

Survivors include her sons, Troy (Tonja) and Tim (Tina); grandchildren, Colby, Haley, Caleb, Tyler, Marissa, and Anika (Brady); great-grandchildren, Jaelin, Adalyn, Delilah, Rowan, Dallas, Ava, and Owen; sister, Linda (Pat) Goodnature; brother, Steven (Paula) Madson; sister-in-law, Maria Madson; and special friend, Jan Langer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peder and Inez Madson; great-granddaughter, Everleigh; and two brothers, Jerome and Jim.

A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Healing Hearts Connection. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
