Ashley "Ash" Edwin Herry

Ashley “Ash” Edwin Herry, age 43, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at his home. Ash was born in Chuuk, Micronesia, to Junie Daunny and Edwin Herry on April 22, 1982. He attended school in Micronesia and in 2002, moved to the United States, settling in Las Vegas, Nevada, before eventually making his home in Austin, Minnesota. He worked for 3 years at Austin Tank Wash. On December 20, 2013, Ash married Lovelynn Mahora at the courthouse in Austin, having met through Lovelynn's uncle in 2010. They were a great match, perfectly balancing one another. Ash was a kind-hearted and humble man, known for his infectious humor and ability to bring joy to those around him. He loved traveling across the USA, often going on spontaneous trips to casinos and enjoying 2:00 a.m. picnics in the park while looking at the stars. His love for dancing and having fun defined his colorful personality. Ash’s magnetic presence easily drew others to him, and he lived each day fully, without carrying the weight of stress.

Survivors include his parents, Junie (Masaichy) Daunny and Edwin (Neiman) Herry; wife, Lovelynn; half-siblings, JM Daunny, Jayson Daunny, Jayfour Daunny, and Lynn Herry; stepsiblings, Matson, Domack, Dermy, Litha, Madreen, and Carpel; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

A funeral service for Ash will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin. The visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin. The family invites you to join them at “Los Arcos” located at 427 10th St. NE, Austin, MN 55912 following the interment. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin are assisting the family with arrangements.
