Albino Almanza Aguirre

Albino Almanza Aguirre, age 91, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the Cedars of Austin. Albino was born on December 16, 1934, in Guanajuato, Mexico, to Alfonso Almanza and Aurelia Almanza de Aguirre. He lived for many years in Laredo, Texas, before moving to Minnesota. Albino was united in marriage to Rosa Irma Camacho de Almanza in St. James, Minnesota. He worked in agriculture and farming. Albino loved boxing, baseball, watching sports, and running. He enjoyed being able to run until he was 80 years old. Most of all, Albino loved his family and the time he spent with them.

Albino is survived by his wife, Rosa Irma Camacho de Almanza; children, Albino Almanza Jr., Maria Esther Martinez, Dora Alicia Guevara, Alfonso Almanza, Maria Lisa Flores, Alvaro Almanza, and Alberto Almanza; 25 grandchildren; and brother, Juan Almanza of Mexico.

The funeral service for Albino will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin, Minnesota. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Austin. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin are assisting the family with arrangements.
