Helen Krystosek

Helen Ann Krystosek, age 97 of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie. Helen Ann Williams was born in Hancock, Michigan to George and Nellie (Crowley) Williams on February 20, 1924. After graduating from Hancock High School, Helen went on to attend St. Joseph School of Nursing. On May 11, 1946, Helen was united in marriage to Dr. Lee Krystosek in Hancock, Michigan and their union was blessed with seven children. In 1959, the family moved to Edina, Minnesota. In 1986, the couple retired to Clearwater, Florida and spending summers in Minnesota. Helen enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, and downhill skiing until her late seventies. Her hobbies throughout the years included reading, oil painting, sewing, and crocheting. She made all her family members an Afghan. Helen also enjoyed lady groups at church. She was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her daughters and sons Mary, Lee, Susie (Gary), John (Robyn), Mark (Rita), Carol (Chuck), 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one brother, and one sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nellie Williams; husband, Lee Krystosek; son, Joseph Krystosek; one brother; and two sisters.
